DEFINITION

The article consists of the dried roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola rosea L. (Family Crassulaceae) reduced to a powder or very fine powder. It contains NLT 0.3% of the phenylpropenoid glycosides rosarin, rosavin, and rosin calculated as rosavin, and NLT 0.08% of salidroside, calculated on the dried basis.
