Rhodiola rosea Root and Rhizome

 

DEFINITION

The article consists of the dried roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola rosea L. (Family Crassulaceae). It contains NLT 0.3% of the phenylpropenoid glycosides rosarin, rosavin [1], and rosin calculated as rosavin, and NLT 0.08% of salidroside [2], calculated on the dried basis.
