Rhodiola crenulata Root and Rhizome Dry Extract

DEFINITION

The article is prepared from the dried roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola crenulata (Hook. f. et Thomson) H. Ohba (Family Crassulaceae), collected after the scape wither in autumn, by extraction with alcohol. The ratio of starting crude plant material to Dry Extract is about 4:1. It contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled amount of total phenylethanoids, calculated as the sum of salidroside (C₁₄H₂₀O₇) and tyrosol (C₈H₁₀O₂) on the dried basis; NLT 2.0% of salidroside on the dried basis.
