DEFINITION

The article is prepared from the dried root and rhizome of cultivated Panax ginseng C.A.Mey. (Family Araliaceae) collected in the fall, steamed until the material externaly reddish-brown and translucent, by extraction with water or hydroalcoholic mixtures.
